Research interests
My present research activity is related to theoretical stellar evolution, modeling the evolution of a star starting from the pre-main sequence until its last stages, using the recently updated FRANEC evolutionary code. I am involved in the planning and development of the Pisa Stellar Models Data Base (http://astro.df.unipi.it/stellar-models/), a large stellar database of tracks and isochrones spanning a wide range of mass, age values and chemical compositions.
