Research interests: I'm currently working on the non perturbative aspects of Quantum Chromodinamic (QCD), using Lattice QCD simulations as main investigation tool. In my recent works I focused on the topological structure of the QCD vacuum and on the properties of the quark gluon plasma in the presence of exernal magnetic fields. More in general, I'm interested in studing how the presence of external abelian fields influence the properties of the strong interactions.
